Why do I have to create a Contract if I don't have all the details?

We understands that the details of the contract aren’t always available, that’s why we don’t require you to fill out all the details of the Contract form at once. Depending on the details, you can create a Stub Contract if you don’t have the Contract Number; or if you only have the contract number, the contract will be seen as complete but you will still be able to go back to the contract to edit in other missing information.  Other information you may want to go back to fill in is the Contract “End Date.” It is important to note that Contracts that do not have an “End Date” are seen as perpetual contracts.
