How to sort through your Stub Contracts

When a Stub Contract is created, it is created with incomplete contract information and is used as a placeholder for a Contract. Thus, it is common to discover the complete Contract information long after the Stub Contract has been created. In this case, when you have the full Contract information to fill into the Stub Contract but will have to search for the correct Stub Contract to revise, filtering the Contracts table will help minimize your search pool.

  1. Access the "Entities" page
  2. Under the menu on the left, click "Contracts" to navigate to the Contracts page
  3. In the Contracts page, on the top right bar click on the "Table Settings" widget
  4. In the "Edit Table Columns" pop up, check the box for "Royalty Match" and "End Date" (assuming majority of the completed contracts have an end date), click Save.
  5. The Contracts Table will reload to show Contracts that either have and don't have a "Royalty Match" as well as Contracts that either have or don't have an "End Date".
  6. All Stub Contracts should then be shown on the table as separated from complete Contracts that have a Royalty Match and an End Date.
  7. The remaining Stub Contracts listed will then be the pool of Sub Contracts you can go through to fill in the missing information for it to become a complete Contract.
